Scope of Work
Hemptyful already had pre-existing packaging, however it needed to be re-designed as the company was moving in a different direction.
They also wanted to start selling their products in the US and thus needed to rework some of their label nutritional values and claims made for FDA approval.
They will be launching a new product line of protein powder some time this year and needed a packaging design done for the same.

Hemptyful Hemp Hearts are nutrient-packed, shelled hemp seeds that offer a versatile and delicious way to boost your nutrition. These tiny, soft seeds have a mild, nutty flavor and are perfect for adding to smoothies, salads, yogurt, or baked goods.
Changes made
The original packaging was a sticker which was to be added on pre-existing packs.
The company wanted to manufacture their own with the pack pre-printed.
They also wanted to add a banner at the bottom which would be the same for all their product lines.
However they still wanted to maintain the familiarity that their customers had with their previous packaging.
They wanted to change the values mentioned in the nutritional panel as for compliance with the FDA.

The dimensions of the new bottle are different thus the layout of the label changed.

There were changes made in the icons as the olld ones were replaced with the icon library for a cohesive look across the product line.

Hemptyful Hemp Protein Powder is a plant-based protein powerhouse, crafted from organic hemp seeds and pea protein. Brief Given
Hemptyful is launching a new product - a hemp and pea protein based fully vegan protein powder.
The design of the packaging should stand out on its own but should also not seem too different when placed with all the other products already being sold.
The image of the mountains used in seeds and oil should be added to have more cohesion.
There would be two flavours being introduced - French Vanilla & Belgian Chocolate.
The packaging should feature iconography as well as the banner used in all the rest of the products.
The design should be modern, simplistic, and should easily convey the benefits of using hemp seeds.
It should stand out among other protein brands and should cater more towards the younger crowd like millennials and Gen-Z.
